SUNDOWN DEC.25-JAN.2 AT SUNDOWN
The eight-day festival of Hanukkah will begin this year at sundown on December 25th, (25th day of Kislev). It is a time and a season when we prayerfully look at our lives in light of the Maccabbean narrative and revisit what it means to dedicate ourselves to God and His purposes.
As a congregation we have the following activities planned for Thursday, Friday, and Saturday (December 26-28):
THURSDAY, DEC. 26, FROM 6:00-9:00 PM (2nd night of Hanukkah)
Paint Night: Learn to paint the Lion of the Tribe of Judah with a professional painter.
Cost: $30 cash per person (Canvas, paint, and brushes supplied)
Bring an appetizer to share. Please see Anna Mary for more information and to reserve your spot.
FRIDAY, DEC. 27, SHABBAT WORSHIP SERVICE & FIRESIDE ONEG (3rd night of Hanukkah)
All are encouraged to bring a special covered dish for an outdoor treat after our Shabbat service. Please coordinate with Kevin Lugo.
We’ll have fellowship around a campfire. (Weather permitting)
Families are welcome to bring tents, sleeping bags and camp out.
SATURDAY, DEC. 28 SHABBAT OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES
We will continue to celebrate the season with a memorable day & night of food, fun and fellowship.

6:00-9:00 pm Indoor Family Game Night (4th night of Hanukkah)
Dessert potluck
Reader’s Theater
Candle Lighting (Bring your own Hanukkiah [Hanukkah menorah] with candles)
Table Games: board games, cards, etc.
