Roger Diaz
Pastor and Elder, Fellowship Church
A native of the Caribbean Island of Trinidad and Tobago, Pastor Roger Diaz moved to Central Florida in 1984. Soon after he gave his heart to the Lord in 1991, God called him to Fellowship Church where he committed himself to the work of ministry, seeking where he might be most effective. In 1996, God called him to be a pastor/teacher. In preparation for this service, he led the discipleship ministry, oversaw a home school co-op, taught the Tzemach Institute Bible Survey Course in Deland, Fla., and developed and taught a Sunday morning Bible Study curriculum. In 2002 he was ordained as an elder.
When Ken Garrison retired as pastor of Fellowship Church in 2009, Roger took his place and was ordained and installed as pastor in July of that year. In addition to his pastoral responsibilities, he teaches in the Tzemach Institute for Biblical Studies and oversees the Internet talk program, “A Voice to the Gentile Church.” His deepest hope and vision is that the members of the body conform to the image and likeness of Messiah Jesus and wholly function as He intends (Rom. 8:28-30).
Pastor Roger lives with his wife, Lisa, and their four children. When not serving the congregation, he likes to fish, hone his Caribbean cooking skills and concoct more dangerous strains of his Killer Hot Sauce.
Larry Dorcik
Elder, Fellowship Church
Larry Dorcik has been a leader at Fellowship since the church’s inception in 1977. He acknowledged Jesus as his Savior at the age of 15 and has been actively involved in service ever since. He was ordained a deacon at Friendship Baptist Church of Altamonte Springs and in 1985 was ordained an elder of Fellowship Church, a position in which he continues to function. As a member of the pastoral staff during the church’s formative years, he directed the choir, led in worship, directed the youth program and produced dramatic presentations for the Biblical festivals. He currently teaches in the Tzemach Institute for Biblical Studies, continues to serve as an Elder and chairs the church business meetings.
Willie Hickman
Elder, Fellowship Church
A native of Quincy, Florida, Willie and his bride Gwendolyn have been at Fellowship Church since about 1994. He envisions Fellowship as his home, among family for eternity. He sees his part as an elder in Fellowship as a servant just to serve where ever he is needed to assist the Pastor and members of the body.
