We prefer that the children remain in the service so that they may participate in the dance, praise and worship. They are dismissed to their class before the message.
“These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts.
Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.” — Deuteronomy 6:6-7 (NIV)
“Train up a child in the way he should go, Even when he is old he will not depart from it.” — Proverbs 22:6 (NASB)
At Fellowship, we believe that the family is the backbone of the congregation. As such, we take the Biblical commands to train our children seriously. They are our hope; our future; our legacy. The church does not seek to usurp the God-given responsibility of parents to raise godly children but rather to partner with and assist them in their role. We desire to assist parents in making young followers of Messiah Jesus who will become adult followers of Messiah Jesus.
