WEDNESDAY, SEPT. 15 AT SUNDOWN SEPT. 16 – AT SUNDOWN
We will gather as a body for a Yom Kippur service at 7:00 PM on Thursday evening, Sept 16th. During this time we will seek God’s heart and mind as a congregation for the coming year.
The Scriptures state it is a day to “humble our souls” (Lev. 23: 32). The Seventh Month Festivals began on Monday evening (Sept. 6) with The Feast of Trumpets (Yom Teruah), followed by The Day of Atonement (Yom Kippur) 10 days later, and ends with The Feast of Tabernacles (Sukkot). The days between Trumpets and Yom Kippur initiate a process of reflection for the body to consider what the Lord has shown us to do, and will lead to the consecration of ourselves to these assignments on Yom Kippur. Please ensure that you are a part of this important service. If you need additional information, please see Pastor Roger Diaz.
