OCTOBER 9 – 16, 2022
Fellowship Church invites you to celebrate SUKKOT סוכות, the Biblical Feast of Tabernacles with us.
Sukkot is a beautiful celebration during which we commemorate God’s provision in our lives and the redemption of His creation. It reminds us that God desires to guide and intimately dwell with us, even as He did with His people in the wilderness. It is celebrated for seven days with a sacred assembly on the eighth day. (Learn more: Sukkot – The Feast of Tabernacles)
We would like to invite the community to rejoice with us this year. A sukkah will be erected on the grounds for use during the celebration. Come and enjoy a meal or time of fellowship, even as God’s people will be doing across the globe and participate with us in the following events:
- Bring the entire family to view a replica of the Tabernacle in the Wilderness and discover its meaning. See the Outer Courtyard, Holy Place and Holy of Holies. Learn about the Ark of the Covenant and other furnishings as you understand their symbolic significance for Messiah Jesus’ ministry and God’s end-time redemptive purposes. Our Tabernacle replica will be available for tours from October 3-28th. Click Tabernacle Tour to make reservations.
- Join us for our Shabbat worship service October 14th at 7:30 PM and a special Oneg (time of refreshment) in the sukkah and around the campfire after the service. Please bring a dish, dessert & soft drinks to share. Many families will bring tents and you’re welcome to camp-out for the evening or all week.
- The Grand Gathering for this year’s The Feast of Tabernacles will begin with a procession at 7:30 PM on Saturday, October 15th, as the “Ark of the Covenant” is brought to the “Tent of David,” followed by a time of praise and worship. Prepare your hearts and join with fellow believers to meet the Lord in worship during this special time!
- American & Israel-style food & drinks will be available for purchase on Saturday from 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM.
*This year Sukkot begins at sundown, Sunday, October 9th and continues through sundown Sunday, October 16th, 2022.
