We are initiating an eight-week training course that will help equip us to defend what we believe. Presenting answers to difficult questions about our faith is called “apologetics,” or “defense of our faith.” As believers in the God of Abraham, Issac, and Jacob, we all need to feel comfortable responding to the most common questions and objections to our faith. With the development and distribution of the new “Comfort & Shalom” documentary, there will be many opportunities to discuss the relationship God has established between our congregation and the community of Kedumim, Israel. This course will help put that relationship in a scriptural context.
The eight-week series will begin on Tuesday, July 10 and run until August 28, 2018. The class will meet in Building #2 and go from 6:30-8:30 PM. Pastor Roger Diaz will discuss 7 important questions we need to be able to answer, like “What is replacement theology, and why do people embrace it?”, “Can a Jew go to heaven without Jesus?”, and “How do you define the Trinity, and why?” Are you prepared with a scriptural response to these questions? (See I Peter 3:15) Now you can be!
Join us as we dig into the scriptures to answer these and other pertinent questions.
