SUNDAY, AUGUST 1, 7:00 – 9:00 PM
Laurie Cardoza-Moore, Founder & President of PJTN (Proclaiming Justice to the Nations), joins with Fellowship Church to co-host Rabbi Jeremy Gimpel and his wife, Tehila, for an Israel Inspired evening – Sunday, August 1 at 7:00 p.m. Jeremy will bring “behind the news” insight into what’s going on in Israel today and bring into clarity why, despite the growing groundswell of persecution from her neighbors, the US and the rest of the world, a Jewish presence in Judea and Samaria is absolutely critical for Hashem’s end-time redemptive purposes. He will also explain how The Land of Israel Fellowship and its Arugot Farm retreat and training center enhances and buttresses those purposes. Here, in this rugged, historic setting amid the southern Judean mountains, and through the teaching/training network the Fellowship provides, Jeremy, his wife, Tehila, and his best friend and longtime coworker, Ari Abramowitz, provide an oasis of faith amid the swirling sands of modernism and persecution. Through the Farm and the growing faith community it anchors, they seek to bring Jews and Christians together in a Fellowship of love, mutual faith and understanding as they not only learn ancient Jewish wisdom of the Torah, but, especially, how to apply that wisdom in their daily lives.
Jeremy has been a friend of Fellowship Church for nearly two decades. He is a commander in the IDF (Israeli Defense Force) Reserves, a former co-host of the popular TV show “Tuesday Night Live in Jerusalem,” and current co-host (with Ari Abramowitz) of the podcast, “Israel Inspired,” on thelandofisrael.com. Jeremy is deputy director of the World Mizrachi Movement.
His wife, Tehila, holds Bachelor’s Degrees in both Law and Jewish Philosophy, and a Master’s Degree in Jewish Law, all from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. She was admitted to the Israel Bar Association in 2009, and has worked as a private attorney in the fields of family and criminal law. She teaches Jewish Law at Hebrew University and is working on her doctoral dissertation. Tehila & Jeremy Gimpel live on the Arugot Farm with their six children.
Oneg and time of fellowship to follow. You won’t want to miss this inspiring night!
